Smart Region - The Project

In the EU project Smart Region, partners from three countries are working on the development of new solutions to deal with demographic change in specifically selected regions (Brandenburg, Thuringia, and two regions respectively in Bavaria, Styria and Portugal).

The project is co-financed by the Hans-Böckler-Foundation in Germany, the Research Network on Pensions (FNA) of the Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund, the Ressort Soziales, Arbeit und Kultur des Landes Steiermark, and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Economics and Labour.
