Welcome to the homepage of the EU-funded project  Smart Region – Age management in innovative regions.

Europe’s workforce is getting older – a change process which sets new challenges for employees, companies, the labour market and policy-makers. In the Smart Region project innovative measures to successfully deal with the future challenges are being developed in eight European regions.

The following pages provide an overview of the background and aims of Smart Region. As of autumn 2005 you can find out which activities are taking place in the eight Smart Regions and how you can also benefit from the project.
